OFFICIAL: A major club in Europe disbanded

In a notice released in the early morning of July 26 (Vietnam time), the Girondins de Bordeaux board of directors announced that the team had submitted an application to withdraw from the soccer system. French professional football and has been approved by the French Football Federation (FFF).

Bordeaux said in a statement: "This is a difficult decision, an inevitable consequence of the ongoing restructuring process."
